  My daughter and I were staying in Aber for 3 nights, camping. We ate here on the first night and booked a table for our 3rd night as we left. Excellent food and service and Gannets is now high on my list of reasons to return to Aberystwyth.
  
  If you're after a view of the sea then this is not the place for you. It's hidden well away from the busy, touristy parts of the town and seems to get a lot of regular, local customers. There's no loud music to try to shout over. They don't do chips, so don't ask.... just have the roast spuds instead.
  
  For what you get, both in quality and quantity, the prices are quite amazing. (In a good way!)
